The Levelland Loboettes would win their non-district softball game against the Plainview Lady Bulldogs with a final score of nine-to-one. The one Plainview run came in the first inning on a one run homerun from Jaramillo, as Aubriana Rivas would throw all seven for the Loboettes.

In the first Plainview would get their one and only run in the game from Yaneli Jaramillo, and from there it would be all Levelland.

Sadie Mendez would lead off the Loboette side of the first with a walk, she would steal second and third before scoring on a Angelica Gonzalez single. The game would be tied one all until the bottom of the third before the Loboettes would strike again.

Mendez would start the third with a single, she would then steal second before scoring from an Adrianna Castellano double. Castellano would then score on a two out double from Madison Seat.

The Loboettes would score five runs in the fourth. Three singles, a fielder’s choice and an error would load the bases with one run already across, and Rivas would hit a Grand Slam scoring in Delgado, Mendez, and Gonzales. The last run for the Loboettes would come in the fifth on a one run homerun from Jazlyn Diaz.

The Loboettes would score nine runs on 10 hits, as Levelland would not commit an error and leave just four runners aboard. Plainview score one run on two hits, and the Lady Bulldogs would commit just one error and leave one on base.

Abriana Rivas would get the win for the Loboettes going all seven innings. She would allow one earned run on two hits including a homerun. Rivas would not walk a batter while striking out seven.

Yaneli Jaramillo would take the loss for Plainview going four and a third innings deep. She would allow nine runs, five of them earned on nine hits. Jaramillo would walk two, strikeout eight, but allow two home runs. Liliana Vaquera would come in for an inning and two thirds of relief for the Lady Bulldogs. She would not allow any runs and just one hit. Vaquera would not walk a batter and strikeout one.

The Loboettes move to 11-and-eight on the year as they get set for a double header on Saturday, March 9th against Midland and Tascosa.
