P: Jodie Vaughn, Sr., Seminole: Vaughn struck out 22 batters and posted a 2.00 ERA en route to being named the District 2-4A MVP. She recorded 11 shutouts and struck out and average of 9.63 batters through 161 1/3 innings pitched.
C: Chloe Read, Sr., Lubbock High: The District 4-5A first team selection was a powerful hitter, batting fourth in the Lady Westerners lineup. She signed to play softball at Angelo State.
1B: Keeley Etchison, Sr., Frenship: The utility player batted .364 with a .486 on-base percentage. The Concordia University signee, who aided the Tigers in their run to the Class 6A area round last year, recorded 30 RBIs.
2B: Stonie Carrillo, Sr., Coronado: She posted a .946 fielding percentage and did not commit an error in district play a season ago. The District 4-5A defensive MVP hit .528 and recorded 40 RBIs and 54 runs.
3B: Marli Goolsby, Sr., Lubbock-Cooper: The District 4-5A first team selection hit .412 last season. As a pitcher, district opponents hit .170 against her and she led the team with 77 strikeouts on the season.
SS: Lea Garcia, Jr., Coronado: The District 4-5A first teamer, who was named the LSV Newcomer of the Year in 2016, hit .463, scored 67 runs and tallied 38 RBIs. She displayed exceptional range and arm strength last year.
OF: Tish Williams, Jr., Monterey: The District 4-5A first team selection hit .477 and stole 13 out of 13 bases for the Lady Plainsmen last season.
OF: Miranda Villegas, Jr., Levelland: A season ago, Villegas had 21 extra-base hits and recorded an OPS of 1.454. The District co-offensive MVP hit .451 with 37 RBIs and scored 34 runs.
OF: Ka’Leigh Ford, Sr., Roosevelt: The District 2-3A first team selection batted .419, recorded 33 RBIs and scored 39 runs a season ago. Ford, who help the Lady Eagles advance to the Class 3A area round, notched a .547 on-base percentage.
DP: Reagan Robertson, Sr., Lubbock-Cooper: The 2017 LSV Hitter of the Year batted .447 and slugged .947, finishing her junior campaign with double-digit home runs and 44 RBIs. The District 4-5A first teamer has tallied 30 career home runs to lead the Lady Pirates program.
P: Shiloh Burns, Sr., Shallowater: She had the lowest ERA for the Fillies and led the team in opponent’s batting average. For her strong performance in the circle her junior year, Burns was named the District 2-3A MVP.
P: Autumn White, Sr., Lubbock-Cooper: The District 4-5A first teamer recorded a 2.90 ERA and had 10 wins in the circle last season. She hit .400 and notched 41 RBIs.
